Fourth of July!
My city has a succession of fireworks every year on the fourth of july...
But a lot of people forget that it's a celebration of Independance day, not just 'the fourth of july'....

They were really pretty And, as a Hetalia fan, suddenly, a little scene was going through my head....

At America's birthday party, everyone is really happy, yadayada, but the happiest one of all is America (obviously because it's the only one who really celebrates its birthday.... seriously, who celebrates independance day besides people who live in or are american?)
yeah. So. They're all super happy like.
But then, China cracks out the fireworks, because of course, what's the 4th of July without fireworks?
So everyone sits down to watch...
But as the fireworks are exploding in the air, the sound of the rockets exploding in the sky reminds England of the American Revolution, you know how the song goes
"Rocket's red flare, the bombs bursting in air..."
All the guns, muskets, cannons...
the 4th of July 1776, when America officially pulled away from him and left him ;_____;
But then America notices England's sadness and (because he's dense) goes up to him and thumps him on the back and goes "Y SO SRS???? NJOY TEH FIREZ!!!"
and everyone's happy again teh end
