My family and I came out to LA a day early to just hand before AX tomorrow
And the first about two minues that we get off the freeway, we see three Roy Mustangs crossing the street with a maid girl and a spiky blue wig.

My mom, unaware of what Anime Expo really is, says something along the lines of "Oh, wow... Who're these freaks?"
And my brother, who is driving, simply stares at the people walking by in front of him, with his eyes I think lingering a little longer on the girl with the skimpy skirt...

And I am hiding under a hat in the backseat, mortified.

I explained to my mom, "All of these people are the people at Anime Expo. The really dedicated people who probably booked hotels nearby and are coming back tomorrow... and the next day."
And then my mom goes " How fun~"
